Marjorie Cranston found her passion for art as a child. Through the influence of family and success with her talents, she has experienced a life rich in creativity and great accomplishments as an artist and designer. Her home in Grand Lake, Colorado continues to inspire her work with pastels and the interior designing of mountain homes.
Five years ago Marjorie’s dream to have a space that combined both sides of her talents came true at the Jack Straw Mountain Gallery of Art and Design. Named after a favorite mountain of Marjorie’s in Rocky Mountain National Park, the intimate gallery continues to help her develop her passions – and combine them to create new handiworks such as hand-painted furniture andaccessories.
